What to know about our electrical services, coverage and project process.
Are you a licensed electrical contractor in Ontario?
Yes. The Sparky is an ECRA/ESA-registered electrical contractor based in Erin, Ontario. Our registration number is ECRA 7019147.
What kinds of projects do you take on?
We specialize in custom and landscape lighting, new builds and renovations, panel and service upgrades, troubleshooting, maintenance and commercial power. We’re also willing to look at almost anything, including unusual or outside-the-box projects. If you have a problem that needs solving, send it our way and we’ll see what’s possible.
What areas do you serve?
The Sparky serves the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. Contact us with your project address and we will confirm coverage for your location.
Do you take on out-of-town work?
Yes. We consider out-of-town projects based on the scope, schedule and location. Contact us with the project details for a quotation.
Do you require a deposit?
Only for materials. We do not require a standard 50% deposit. Any material deposit will be clearly identified in your quotation before work begins.
Do you take on small electrical jobs?
Yes. We take on everything from troubleshooting and individual fixtures to complete renovations and larger installations. Tell us what you need and we’ll let you know how we can help.
Can you help if I’m not sure what solution I need?
Absolutely. Start with the problem, your goals and any constraints you already know about. We can review the options and recommend a practical way forward.
How do I request an estimate?
Send us a short description of the work, the project location, your preferred timeline and any helpful photos. We will review the scope and confirm the next step.
